One Fifty Parker Avenue School is a small and cozy, play-based school that serves 48 children each year.
The AM Nursery is our morning 3’s program, the PM Nursery is our afternoon 4’s program, and we offer a morning Transitional Kindergarten for 5 year olds. Children attend school 5 days a week, and this schedule builds familiarity with the environment, provides children with much-needed consistency, and creates repeated exposure to daily rhythms and routines. Afternoon Childcare is available for families needing all day care.
We also own and operate the Little Red School Bus, our own 12-passenger vehicle, designed to offer morning care to PM families who need it and to give our 4-year-olds exposure to the natural and cultural beauty of the Bay Area. In all our programs, we are proud to maintain excellent child-teacher ratios, with one teacher for every six children in each core program and one teacher for every 8 children in our childcare program.
